Immokalee is located along FL-29, which connects to Aligator Alley(I-75).

Get around

Car is the best way to get around. There are two bus routes, operated by Collier Area Transit, that serve the town. It is possible to walk around the town, but there are relatively few sidewalks and traffic can be dangerous.

  • 1 Immokalee Pioneer Museum (Roberts Ranch), 1215 Roberts Ave. West, +1-239-252-2611. Tues-Sat 9 AM - 4 PM. Historic home with exhibits on the hisotry of the area, mostly relating to agriculture.
  • Lake Trafford. Lake with airboat and fishing tours.  
  • 1 Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, 506 S First St., +1-239-658-1313. Open 24/7. Casino located on the American Indian reservation.    

There are some small shops along W Main Street. Immokalee Plaza has a Winn-Dixie, the towns only grocery store. Immokalee State Farmer's Market has vendors selling various types of fresh produce.
