Ito (Shizuoka)

Itō (伊東), literally "East Izu", is on the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka (prefecture).

Get in

Itō is on the private Izu-Kyuko line from Shimoda to Atami, which is served by the Tokaido Shinkansen. In addition to local services up and down the coast, it's served by four direct JR Odoriko limited express services daily from Tokyo via Atami.
