Janjgir is the headquarters of Janjgir-Champa district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

edit- 1 Chandrahasini Devi Temple, Chandrapur (22 km (14 mi) east of Janjgir). On the banks of the Mahanadi River, the temple is at its most liveliest during the Navratri Festival which takes place around October.
- 2 Vishnu Temple (Nakta Temple), Basti, ☏ +91 91658 04907. An 11th-century incomplete temple decorated with meticulous stone carvings. It is not used for prayer but is the most popular architectural sight in the city.
- Pithampur Shiv Mandir. On the banks of the Hasdeo River.
- Madanpurgarh Devi Mandir (10 km (6.2 mi) northeast of Janjgir).
- Ghatadai (Paharia) Tripur Sundar Devi. A somewhat isolated temple surrounded by forest and hills.
- 3 Shivirinarayan Laxminarayan Temple. One of the older temples around Janjgir, built in the 11th century.
- Kharud Nagar Laxmaneshwar Temple. According to local folklore, it was built by Laxman, the younger brother of Rama in the Hindu Ramayana epic.
- 4 Turridham Shiva Temple, Turi, Sakti.
- 5 Ashtabhuji Temple, Adbhar.
