See and do

edit

There are three main attractions in the park: 1 Lower Joffre Lake, 2 Middle Joffre Lake and 3 Upper Joffre Lake. The Joffre Lakes Trail (coloured   on map) connects all three glacial lakes to the parking lot beside Highway 99.

All three lakes have viewpoints – the viewpoint for Lower Joffre Lake is just a few steps from the parking lot, while the viewpoints for the other two will require you to hike. If you're used to hiking uphill on mountainous terrain, it shouldn't be too hard, but if you're not, then you're up for a challenge. Oh, and not to forget, on your way up, you'll be seeing mountains greater than 2500 metres in elevation.

Food will need to be brought in with you, because there's no cafe or restaurant anywhere in sight for the next who knows how many kilometres.
