Keuruu is a small municipality located in central Finland, in the region known as Central Finland. It has a population of around 9,000 people and covers an area of approximately 1,350 square kilometers, making it quite rural and sparsely populated. The town is situated on the shores of Lake Keurusselkä. After Keuruu's town centre, Haapamäki is the second largest settlement.

Keuruu's economy is primarily based on agriculture, forestry, and tourism.
