The frost-free period lasts for 160 days on average.The area of the reserve comprises 1020 types of vascular plants, 120 types of moss, 148 types of lichen and 824 types of mushrooms. There are 6 types of amphibians, 8 types of reptiles, 224 types of birds, 45 types of fish and 50 types of mammals. The reserve is adjacent to Khabarovsk suburb.
