Ko Bon

Ko Bon (เกาะบอน) is a small island SSE of Ko Phuket. It lies 1-2 km off-shore.

It is accessible in just 10 minutes by boat from Rawai or Laem Ka. You can also charter a longtail from most of Phuket's main beaches.

Bon Island Restaurant (A few kilometres off Rawai. During monsoon season, you must take a longtail or speedboat from Rawai or Chalong Bay as boats from other beaches are often not running. Stay for cocktails in the late afternoon and watch the sun go down at Laem Phrom Thep.

There was a luxurious honeymoon suite, operated by the Evason Resort & Spa in Rawai, on the island. But the Evanson has closed and there is now no accommodation on the island (Nov 2013).
