editIt is recommended to attempt this trail during the winter months of June to August.
Dangers include Dehydration, Hyperthermia and Hypothermia. The trail is well marked; however people have died by taking a wrong turn during summer months.
Venomous snakes are also a danger, although as long as you avoid walking through long grass and picking up rocks you will not likely encounter any.
