editLeiston is near the A12 and can be reached from the turning to Aldeburgh (A1094) if coming from Ipswich or the turning at Blythburgh (B1125) if coming from Lowestoft. There are various buses that come from Ipswich to Aldeburgh that stop at Leiston. Leiston no longer has a railway station, the nearest is in Saxmundham.
