  • Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum, 5700 College Rd, +1-630-829-6545. A small natural history museum located on the second floor of the Michael and Kay Birk Hall of Science at Benedictine University.
  • Morton Arboretum, 4100 IL-53. A 1,700-acre public garden and outdoor museum with a library and herbarium.  
  • The Museums at Lisle Station Park, 921 School St, +1-630-968-0499. A free museum providing you with an opportunity to learn about the heritage and culture of 19th-century Illinois. Free.


  • Dragonfly Landing, 4704 Garfield Ave. 11AM-7PM daily. Dragonfly Landing is a family-friendly attraction and splash park located in PrairieWalk Pond. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year, it features a splash pad with interactive water jets, giant colorful flowers that mist water, and a shelter with a living green roof. There are also nature-themed play structures such as a tree house, leaping lily pads, and cat tail swingers. Free.
  • PrairieWalk Pond, Burlington Ave & Garfield Ave, +1-630-271-4100. A 4.5 acre recreation area in Downtown Lisle. Next to the 2.5 acre pond, there are benches, picnic tables, rock outcrops, and a gazebo providing places to sit and watch the wildlife. In addition, there is a playground, grassy area good for picnicking, and one of those "take a book, leave a book" little libraries. During the summer months, from 8-11PM, the fountains, which help prevent algae and circulate water, turn different colors. With over 100 varieties of native prairie grasses, flowers, and trees, in addition to being certified as a Monarch Butterfly waystation, your camera will receive a fine workout here. Fishing is prohibited. Free.
  • Sea Lion Aquatic Park, 1825 Short St. A great place to swim and have some fun. The aquatic park is outdoors, and have changing rooms/showers separated by gender. Lockers are available for a small fee.


  • Crème de la Crème Boutique and Gifts (Crème de la Crème), 4710 Main St. M-F 10AM-5:30PM, Sa 10AM-4:00PM (closed Su). Crème de la Crème offers lots of clothes, home décor, jewelry, and more.
  • The Collective Ihe + Makery (The Makery), 4724 Main St. A home goods store selling unique gifts and home décor. They also offer art classes.
  • Lisle French Market, Between Burlington and Garfield Ave. Sa 8AM-1PM. Each year from May to October, the Lisle French Market is open every Saturday for shoppers looking for locally grown produce, baked goods, artisan crafts, jewelry, and more. Vendors may change from week to week, ensuring that each trip will bring a new experience. Free parking in the parking lot. Free.
