editThis town or as would apply for rest of Punjab is only for tourists interested in history, culture and religion and you would be bored if looking for cosmopolitan culture. It has a great local Punjabi culture with a Gurudwara that now nestles on the place where Guruji slept. Forests have largely disappeared now.
