Minden, sometimes also called Minden an der Weser or Minden (Westfalen) is in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The town extends along both sides of the River Weser, and is crossed by the Mittelland Canal, which is led over the river on the Minden Aqueduct.

Minden has been the headquarters of Melitta, a German producer of coffee filters since 1929.
