Mocuba is a transit town in Northern Mozambique at the junction of the road from/to Malawi and the main N1 road towards north and south of Mozambique.

  • From/to Milange/Mulanje, border with Malawi. Chapas leave when full (450 MT, 3-4 hr).
  • 1 Chapas to Nampula, N1 main road (north-east of city centre, 1 km north after the bridge). Chapas minibuses leave from here when full (800 MT, 6-7 hr).
  • 2 Paragem do mercado central (3 blocks east of N1, next to central market). Chapas minibuses for other destinations.
  • 3 Nagi bus terminal (southwest of main roundabout and N1).
  • 4 CityLink bus terminal (300 m southwest of the main roundabout, on a dust road parallel to N1). Buses from Nampula to Beira arrive here between 08ː00 and 10ː00. To go to Chimoio, stop at Inchope (junction N1/N6)ː 1900 MT, 9 hr with potholes all along the way.
