The Moore Haven Downtown Historic District includes the Lone Cypress, and the Moore Haven Residential Historic District contains a number of simple old homes that survived or were built after the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926 and the 1928 Hurricane.
- 1 Glades County Courthouse. Built in 1928, it survived the Okeechobee Hurricane the same year. The high water mark is still barely visible below the second story.
- 2 Gatorama, 10665 N US-27 (Palmdale), ☏ +1 863 675-0623. One of Florida's oldest roadside attractions. Gatorama is basically an alligator farm with a visitor center. The gator zoo exhibits alligator and crocodile species and a few other animals. Visitors are treated with a short gator wrestling show, can hold an alligator and will be shown feeding the animals. Personnel will ask any question regarding alligator breeding with in-depth knowledge. The giftshop sells gator-related souvenirs and gator products like alligator leather purses and alligator meat (frozen) from own harvest.
