Moore Haven is a city in the Florida Heartland. It is the county seat for Glades County.
US 27 goes right through the city.
- Glades County courthouse - built in 1928, it survived the Okeechobee Hurricane the same year. The high water mark is still barely visible below the second story.
- Moore Haven Downtown Historic District (includes the Lone Cypress)
- Moore Haven Residential Historic District - contains a number of simple old homes that survived or were built after the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926 and the 1928 hurricane.
