Moulay Bousselham is in the North Atlantic Coast region of Morocco.

A small seaside town for its stunning beauty, Moulay Bousselham is more than just a laid-back fishing village. Its single main street teems with restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. In winter it is mostly empty, but during summertime it is popular with holidaymakers.

Moulay Bousselham is named after a 10th-century Egyptian saint who guarded the mouth of the river within its koubba, which he commemorated.

Get in

There are frequent taxis and buses to Moulay Bousselham from Souk el-Arbaa du Rharb. The town is accessible by Grand taxis from Larache costing 250 dirham.

See

• 1 Plage Moulay Bousselham (Moulay Bousselham Beach). Beautiful, clean and wide beach with its sandbar that creates a continual crash of waves. It is mostly attractive with swimmers during summer. 
• 2 Merdja Zerka National Park. 8 kilometres east of Moulay Bousselham. 73 square kilometres of lush marshland including its lagoon that connects by the sea. It makes it as one of Morocco's prime birdwatching locations with boat trips to see species of migrant birds. (updated Aug 2018)
