Mürska Subouta lies on Pannonian plain, which means landscape is flat. Surroundings of Mürska Subouta is stunning. The city is only Slovenian city with majority of Protestants instead of Catholics which is reason for beautiful Protestant cathedral.

  • Watch football: NŠ Mura play soccer in PrvaLiga, the country's top tier. Their home ground is Fazanerija City Stadium, capacity 7800, one km northwest of town centre. However for the biggest games (eg Europa Conference) they play in Maribor.
