edit- 1 Volcán de Lodo (cross some fields were cattle is grazing to the east of the town; there are no signs along the path and you must cross several gates -- there are few locals to ask along the way, so it is probably easiest if you bring a map.). A mud volcano with several bubbling ponds of gray mud. It is a short hike out of town. Free.

Instead of buying your ticket at the office for COP$70,000 you can also talk to the drivers and they might be able to pick you up a few blocks down the road and take you to Medellín for as little as COP$50,000.
