Many of the houses in this part of Wales have names, and one in Nefyn is called Ty Ni. From the name, you might guess the size of the house!

  • Golf: Nefyn GC has the championship Old Course plus the nine-hole Point. Old Course off white tees is 6520 yards, par 71, visitor round £60.
  • Nefyn hosts a carnival on the May Bank Holiday Monday. There is a procession through town led by drummers and dancers, followed by girls and boys dressed up as princesses and princes, riding in car boots and trailers. The end of the procession includes children and adults in fancy dress. The procession leads to the carnival yard, with car boot sales and children's play areas.

  • 2 Tŷ Coch Inn, Porthdinllaen, Morfa Nefyn LL53 6DB, +44 1758 720498. M-Sa 11:00-22:00, Su 11:00-17:00. Pub restaurant (food served afternoons only) reached by walking across the beach, no vehicle access. No bookings.
