  • 5 Bigăr waterfall (Cascada Bigăr). It is one of the most unusual waterfalls in the world according to The World Geography.

  • 8 Șușara Waterfall (Cascada Șușara) (hiking trail to the waterfall starts at the exit from Sasca Montană).

Most people come here to hike the Nera Gorge (Cheile Nerei). The trail, between Șopotu Nou and Sasca Română, spans 22.7 km (14.1 mi) and needs around 9 hours to complete.

  • 1 Trout farm (Păstrăvărie) (On the trail from Văioaga Waterfall to Ochiul Beului Lake). You can buy fresh trout here. Pay 18 lei per kilo, and tip another few lei to have the insides removed.
