  • 2 Lake Memphremagog. Newport is on the shoreline of the large lake and has a wooden boardwalk that can be walked or biked that leads over the water. It is also rumored that the lake holds a lake monster, Memphre.

Do edit

Buy edit

  • Pick and Shovel. An independent hardware store turned mega-mart. You can find almost anything in this great spot: a toilet, board game, banana split, or new pet fish.

Eat edit

  • Lago, Main Street. A wonderful Italian restaurant. The food is truly artisan, you won't find any overcooked baked ziti here. The salads, pizzas, and seafood are worth highlighting.

Drink edit

There are a few bars on Main Street which are also just a short walk away from the waterfront boardwalks near Lake Memphremagog.
