Nikolayevsk-on-Amur[dead link] (Russian: Никол'аевск-на-Амуре, neeh-koh-LAH-yeffsk nah ah-MOOH-reh) is a town in the Russian Far East, the industrial center of Khabarovsk Krai. The city is interesting for its complicated history. It was a capital of the Russian Far East in the 19th century.

The length of the road is about 597 km, the surface is mainly unpaved. The road is passable all year round for all types of transport (excluding specific bad weather and natural disasters).
The city is on the left bank of the Amur, there is no bridge across the river, so to enter the city (or exit), you will have to use a river ferry plying through the Amur (Podgornoye village).
