human settlement on the Falkland Islands
North Arm is the largest settlement (with 25 residents as of 2016) in Lafonia, the southern peninsula of East Falkland in the Falkland Islands. Surrounded by lowlying grasslands, this is the residential heart of North Arm Farm, a 277,000-acre (1,093-km²) sheep ranch.

editGet in and around
editNorth Arm is 90 miles (145 km) southwest of Stanley. The drive from the capital takes 4 hr 30 min via Mount Pleasant and Goose Green.
As is usual for the Falklands, the settlement has an airstrip, so you can charter a flight with FIGAS from pretty much anywhere else in the country.
Once you've arrived, you can get around the tiny main settlement on foot, though you'll need a 4x4 if you have permission to explore the sheep farm.
