- Carson County Square House Museum, 5th and Elsie (Hwy 207), ☏ . 14-building complex housing many artifacts from the pioneer days, particularly focusing on the history of the railroad in the area, for which Panhandle was an important stop. A number of macro-artifacts include a preserved pioneer dugout house and an early railroad car. The original square house dates from 1880.
