• Pico Rivera Historical Museum, 9122 E. Washington Blvd, ☏ +1 562 949-7100. The Pico Rivera Historical Museum was created in 1992 and offers a collection of pictures, documents and exhibits in what used to be the Santa Fe Railway Station, built back in 1887, having been relocated from its former location back in 1974 to its current address. 
• Smith Park, 6016 Rosemead Blvd, ☏ +1 562 942-7004. Smith Park on Rosemead Blvd. offers a multi-purpose auditorium, meeting rooms, baseball and soccer fields, an Olympic sized swimming pool, skate park, outdoor patio, outdoor handball courts, picnic benches and BBQs, and playground equipment.

• 1 Pico Rivera Sports Arena, 11003 E. Rooks Rd. The Pico Rivera Sports Arena was built next to Bicentennial Park in 1979 in dedication to Pico Rivera residents who served the United States during every war up to the Vietnam War. Sitting around 6,000, it is said to be the largest Mexican-style rodeo ring "Rancho de Charro" in the country. It hosts about 25 shows annually, featuring rodeos, wrestling, and boxing.  
• Cinepolis, 8540 Whittier Blvd, ☏ +1 562 205-3456, pico@kptmovies.com. Cinepolis is the only movie theater in town, built in 2008 in a series of theaters by the entrepreneur George Krikorian, whose goal is quality in the moviegoing experience which is expressed in their motto "Moviegoing is always a premiere event." 
• Pico Rivera Municipal Golf Course, 3260 Fairway Dr, ☏ +1 562 692-9933. The Pico Rivera Municipal Golf Course was designed and built by William F. Bell in 1965 and opened in 1968. It's a 9 hole executive length course on Bermuda grass for 1,430 yards with a rating of 80 slope and 29 par. 
• Pico Rivera Skate Park, 6016 Rosemead Blvd, ☏ +1 562 942-7004. The Pico Rivera Skate Park can be found at Smith Park. It's 12,000 square foot of concrete consisting of banks, fund boxes, rails, quarter pipes, ledges and a bowl. 
• Smith Park Aquatic Center, 6016 Rosemead Blvd, ☏ +1 562 942-7004. Located at Smith Park, the Aquatic Center offers swimming lessons in an Olympic sized pool boasting kick boards, ramp and entry steps, diving boards, indoor and outdoor showers, changing rooms, sun bathing patio, concession stands and food patio, and spectator area.

The price range is moderate and has valet parking, no fee to park if you're there for the restaurant but it's about $5 if you're there for the club. The mood is very casual and fun. The food is good Mexican cuisine. They have a live DJ and dancing. If your looking for a good time late at night without the kids, this is the place to go. If your looking to take your family here, going during the daylight hours is suggested. (updated Aug 2016)
• 2 Dal Rae, 9023 E. Washington Blvd, ☏ +1 562 949-2444. If you're looking for something classier and in around the same moderate price range, then Dal Rae is your place. Perfect for a romantic date or a special occasion without spending too much. It's quality without the cost. Opened back in 1958, it has kept its atmosphere along with its piano and dance floor. Dal Rae also has a charming patio area where lunch and dinner may also be served.
