Pineville is a town in West Virginia and the county seat of Wyoming County. At the 2020 census, the population was 648.

Originally called Castle Rock, the eponymous Castle Rock still stands alongside the Guyandotte River. Pineville is one of two sizable towns with services, groceries and restaurants near Twin Falls Resort State Park, the other being nearby Mullens.
