editPort Washington is a quick hop off of I-43 between Milwaukee and Sheboygan. It is on Lake Michigan and it has a great marina to pull your boat into.
From The North
Coming from Sheboygan take I-43 South, exit Highway 32 South near the Allen-Edmonds Shoe Store.
From The West
From the West Bend/Newburg Area, take Highway 33 East till you get to the lake.
From The South
Coming from Milwaukee take I-43 North, exit Highway 32 North just after the Grafton Exit. Highway 32 merges with Highway 33 to take you to the downtown area.
By bus
editMilwaukee County Transit System operates the Route 143 Ozaukee County Express[dead link], connecting Milwaukee and Cedarburg to the Port Washington park and ride lot. The schedule is mainly aimed at commuters.

Get around
editThis is a small Wisconsin town. It is nice to park on the street and walk around the downtown. You can also stroll out to the lighthouse on a pleasant day, but it is kinda of slippery. If you park your boat, the marina is in the downtown. The whole place is very main street USA.
