Puerto de Mogán is a picturesque fishing village and popular marina in the municipality of Mogán, set at the mouth of a steep-sided valley on the south-west coast of the island of Gran Canaria.
Understand
editCanals linking the marina to the fishing harbour have led to it being nicknamed "Little Venice" or the "Venice of the Canaries". Its beach (Mogán beach or playa de Mogán) has a good reputation. Restaurants and bars fringe the marina and the beach front.
Get in
editBy plane
editFrom the airport the bus line 91 takes about one hour. The bus line 1 takes more than 1:30 h. All these bus lines have several stops in Puerto de Mogán. In Google Maps you can put in the name of your accommodation and the app shows you the right bus connection.
By bus
editThere are direct buses from Puerto Rico (line 1, 33 and 91), Maspalomas (line 1, 33 and 70) and Las Palmas (line 91).
To find a bus to the village, select in Google Maps "Puerto de Mogán - Lomo Quiebre, Spain" and not "Porto de Mogán - Spain".
