Qianjiang

Qianjiang District （黔江区) is in the southeast of Chongqing Municipality, in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain Area, known as the "throat of Chongqing and Hubei". It is over 250 km from the city of Chongqing.

Qianjiang area can enjoy the scenery of mountains and rivers and experience ethnic customs.

Qianjiang District has a subtropical humid monsoon climate. The climate is mild, the four seasons are distinct, the heat is rich, the rainfall is abundant, the monsoon is obvious, but the radiation, the light is insufficient, the disaster climate is frequent. The average annual temperature is 15.4℃, the maximum extreme temperature is 38.6℃, the minimum extreme temperature is -5.8℃, the average annual precipitation is 1200-1389 mm, the average annual evaporation is 1157.6 mm, and the average annual sunshine duration is 1166.6 hours.

It is located in the town of Zhoubai and was called Qianjiang Zhoubai Airport, but was renamed in 2011 after the nearby Wuling Mountains. By bus

Almost all Qianjiang downtown areas have bus stops, and you can take a bus to the train station, the airport, and the downtown shopping mall. Most buses in Qianjiang run from 6:00 to 22:00, it should be noted that the last bus from the airport to the city is 19:30.

1 Qianjiang Xiaonanhai National Geopark (黔江小南海国家地质公园), Nanhai Village, XiaoNanhai Town (黔江区小南海镇南海村). The National Geopark is also a relatively intact ancient earthquake site in China. Xiaonanhai Scenic spot has been rated as a national AAAA tourist attraction. 2 Zhuoshui ancient town scenic spot (濯水古镇景区), Zhuoshui Town (黔江区濯水镇濯水古镇景区). In December 2020, Zhuoshui Scenic Spot was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction. In May 2023, it was listed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as one of the 10 Yangtze River theme national tourism routes and a part of the Yangtze River Scenic Range Trip. 3 Qianjiang City Grand Canyon (中国黔江城市大峡谷), No. 1, North Section of Zhengzhou Road, Zhoubai Street (黔江区舟白街道正舟路北段1号). This a typical karst landform, located in the core of Qianjiang main city, new city Zhoubai and Zhengyang.
