Retzer Land has 6 communities with two small cities Retz and Hardegg; Hardeg is oft called "the Austrian smallest city".

Wine celebrations are featured with open wine cellar doors, so you can taste wines from region.Once a year, in Retz, two fountain at Main Square are filled with white and red wine, in stead of water during the celebration "Vine-Week in Retz " (Retzer Weinwoche in German).


You can taste typical Austrian meals in many wine taverns, restaurants and Hotel Althof Retz.
