editThe town is renowned for Fois Gras, come in the winter months to the duck market to buy your raw Fois Gras and Truffles! At other times of the year, there are several butchers who sell Fois Gras ready prepared.

editThere are several cafes in the centre of town, including:
- Le Café des Colonnes - a classic french market square cafe, often has live music on Tuesday evenings
- Le Café du Palais - a favourite with market-goers on a Friday morning

editThe Hotel De France has sadly closed, which leaves few options in the centre of town. There is a 'Rev Hotel' on the outskirts of the town towards Périgueux, and opposite l'Epi Grill.
