The Santa Clara Valley is a rural, mainly agricultural, valley in Ventura County. Santa Clara Valley was known as "the Valley of Heart's Delight" for its high concentration of orchards, flowering trees and plants.

A national historic landmark that is a working ranch, and a prime example of an early California rancho in its original rural setting. Many of the buildings and grounds are open to the public as a museum of this period in California history. Adult $5, child $3.
