edit- 1 Savonranta Church, Pappilantie 24. viewing by appointment or during services. Savonranta Church is an idyllic wooden church built in 1863 accoring to the plans of architect August Boman. Guided tours summertime Tuesdays and Fridays 11:00-14:00.
- 2 Säimen Mill Museum (Säimenen myllymuseo), Sönkäntie 17, ☏ +358 400 760 383. Old village watermill preserved as a museum, nature trail with a lean-to shelter for making fire. Idyllic place to visit.
- 3 Orivirran saarto ruin, Linnosaarentie 163. Orivirran saarto is a ruin of a 16th-century fortress located in Savonranta, Finland. It is believed to be built some time between 1540 and 1550 and was used until the beginning of the 17th century. Its status was to be to protect St. Olaf's Castle which is still located 50 km to south. In 1592 Russians and Cossacks destroyed the fortress, some ruins and memorial plaque remain.
