Severodvinsk

Severodvinsk is a city of just under 200,000 inhabitants in Arkhangelsk Oblast.

The city is the center of Russian submarine construction. If you're not a Russian citizen, a special permit is required to enter.

Get in

Buses are available from nearby Arkhangelsk, with at least one departure every 15 minutes during the day, journey time is about one hour.

RZD operates a train from Moscow every second day, taking around 22 hours. There's also several daily commuter train from Arkhangelsk and nearby towns, however the train is slower compared to buses.
