Solebury is a city in Bucks County in the state of Pennsylvania.

The area was first settled by the Turtle Tribe of the Lenni-Lenape people (which means "original people"). The area was ceded to European settlers in 1686.

Solebury has historical sites from pre-revolutionary America, colonial times, and the industrial revolution.

Get in

Solebury is located off U.S. Route 202. Not many buses come through Solebury: most people travel by private cars.

You can get to Solebury by the Pennsylvania Turnpike but you must get off in Doylestown.

There are no direct trains however to Solebury.

  • New Hope-Lambertville Winter Festival[dead link] in late January. Concerts, Chili Cook-Off, Winter Fest Blues & BBQ event, and the Revolutionary Pub Crawl.
  • Washington Crossing State Park: Near this park you are able to visit the house of Thompson-Neely house, the old Grist Mill, and Bowman’s Tower.
  • Solebury Orchards, in the middle of Solebury, 3325 Creamery Road, New Hope.. Closed M-W, open Th 9AM-5PM. At this market you are able to pick your own berries, flowers, and apples. Solebury Orchards' goal is to show "how nature faithfully cycles through the seasons, and how we in turn work with her to provide care and nourishment so she may produce the gifts we are able to share with all of you." Through photographs and a presentation they'll take you on a journey of apples as they begin, develop, are harvested and prepared for their final destinations. You'll see how things work here from the equipment we use to the products we make. Over 20 varieties of apples from the orchard.
  • Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope offers plays of various famous musicals.
  • Magill's Hill: a 5-acre (3-ha) site of steep sloped hills which can be used for sledding or other winter activities.
  • The Trail has a connection to the electric company power line. This line is along U.S. Route 202 which provides outdoors activities for nighttime. Baseball games during the night.
  • Delaware River: outdoor water activities, such as, fishing, tubing, and canoeing. A 60-mile long path along the river for cycling, walking or running​, while enjoying the view of historical villages.
