Stay safe
editSt George is a rather disadvantaged town of outback Queensland which has over time lead to increased youth crime, especially around the main BP. You're unlikely to be able to avoid that BP since it is the biggest in town and you will need to refuel before leaving town; take extra precaution and stand your ground if provoked.
