editStokkseyri is a little town on the south coast of Iceland and lies on a 8000-year-old lava that extends between the Iceland greatest rivers, Ölfusá in the west (the largest, 423 m³/s) and Thjórsá in the east (the longest, 230km) where they flow in to the Atlantic Ocean. The sea waves have molded the lava in to a shore renowned for its beauty. Stokkseyri is not far from Iceland's most visited tourist attractions. Stokkseyri has a lot to offer in recreation: museums, family garden, restaurant, kayak sailing, swimming pool, etc. and is becoming evermore attracting every year.
