- 1 Sunset Crater Volcano Visitor Center, 6082 Forest Service 545 Rd, ☏ +1 928-526-0502. Daily 9:30AM–4:30PM, but may be closed between noon–12:30PM. A visitor center with several exhibits about volcanoes and the landscape. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is temporarily closed.

There are several hiking trails within the park, but because of the park's fragile environment, backcountry hiking is strictly prohibited.

- Lava Flow Trail – a 1-mi, wheelchair-accessible route at the base of the volcano.

There are no restaurants, cafes, kiosks or anything like that in Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. All food needs to be brought with you.

There are no accommodation options within Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. However, there is a campground near the visitor center, but it is slightly outside the national monument.
