- 1 Sunset Crater Volcano Visitor Center, 6082 Forest Service 545 Rd, ☏ +1 928-526-0502. Daily 9:30AM–4:30PM, but may be closed between noon–12:30PM. A visitor center with several exhibits about volcanoes and the landscape. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is temporarily closed.

editThere are several hiking trails within the park, but because of the park's fragile environment, backcountry hiking is strictly prohibited.

editThere are no accommodation options within Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. However, there is a campground near the visitor center, but it is slightly outside the national monument.
