This article is about the closure dike, which is visited by busloads of tourists every day and has its own gift shop and is therefore IMHO an attraction. It is also not next to any major cities. -- (WT-en) JR

    • Keep. Article is, perhaps, about an attraction - the closure dike - rather than a destination. Needs to be incorporated into a larger article about North Holland or Friesland and redirected. Keep until this is done. -- (WT-en) Huttite 03:58, 2 Jan 2005 (EST)
  • Delete - Not an article --(WT-en) NJR_ZA 10:56, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
  • This article has already gone through the VFD process - see Talk:Afsluitdijk. There wasn't a lot of comment at the time, so we may want to re-examine this one (in which case I don't have an opinion either way). -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 11:57, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
  • Yeah, let's merge and redirect this as a famous attraction into North Holland (picked because that end of the dijk is closer to Amsterdam, and therefore more likely to be seen first by tourists). - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 17:26, 5 June 2007 (EDT)

Outcome: Merged and redirected to North-Holland --(WT-en) NJR_ZA 04:38, 24 June 2007 (EDT)
