isin

A user changed isin to Mojave Desert. I believe it should be reverted back to Desert (California) as that is the hierarchial region of California it's in. Will revert.--(WT-en) justfred 19:21, 5 October 2006 (EDT)

Seems to track back okay; Mojave Desert is a "subregion" of Desert (California). Not sure which is better to use. If you asked people they'd say it's in the Mojave Desert, not the California Desert region.--(WT-en) justfred 19:22, 5 October 2006 (EDT)

In general, make an isin to the smallest enclosing region. The reason is that the smallest enclosing region contains the stuff to do and see that is most easily accessed from this enclosed location. -- (WT-en) Colin 00:18, 6 October 2006 (EDT)
