Hippie Fair

edit

On the Hippie Fair: where did you get these figures ? 60,000 to 120,000 is too much.

Hippie Fair: Keep it up and I will double these figures.—The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 186.215.128.214 (talkcontribs)
The official website says 100,000. I have changed it accordingly. (WT-en) texugo 21:54, 28 May 2012 (EDT)

Does anyone protect this page? Some users had adding some law infrigment articles and topics, and it's very annonying delete this always.

If you are referring to the information about the dry law, I don't think that information should be removed. It is useful, relevant, and legal. Travellers should be told that they can legally refuse a breathalyzer test. What's the problem? Texugo (talk) 02:14, 25 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
From an outside perspective, I didn't know that Brazil was so strict on drink driving. But when I googled it, it seems like it was enacted in 2008, even with amendments in 2012, so it's not really new. Also it's not any where in the actual Brazil article and not in Rio de Janeiro either, and I think that might be a shock to people visiting in 2014 and 2016. So perhaps this should go to the top-level article, or would it be duplicated in all the major cities? And I would then prefer a short note reminding people about the police blitz around the drinking area in Belo Horizonte and other cities instead. -- Torty3 (talk) 07:38, 25 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
