Here's a strange case. I can't reach them by phone—not because I get a "disconnected" message, but rather because my cell is incapable of making the call, only for this one phone number. So I go over to check it out, and there's a big "open" sign next to a "for sale" sign. All very ambiguous, but it was closed when it should have been open, so I'll leave it here rather than in the article. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 20:58, 28 June 2008 (EDT)

And that serves me right for leaping to (natural) conclusions! It looks to be confirmed open as of Sep 2010. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 15:43, 1 October 2010 (EDT)

  • <do name="South Side Irish Parade" alt="" address="Runs along Western Ave from 104th St to 115th St" directions="" phone="+1 773 393-8687" url="http://www.southsideirishparade.org/" hours="Noon, Su, 15 March 2009" price="" lat="" long="" email="southsideirishparade@yahoo.com" fax="">This parade is a good deal larger and more energetic than the comparably staid celebration downtown the day prior. It started in 1979, almost spontaneously, after Mayor Daley had moved the original parade to the Loop. Remember that Beverly is a dry town east of Western Ave, whereas the western side of the avenue is lined with pubs. Accordingly, the east side of the parade is much more family-friendly than the somewhat rowdy west. Parking is easiest to the west of the parade and the churches to the east often provide refuge to those who came for the parade, but found the March weather too cold. While the parade itself starts at noon, festivities kick off at 8:30AM at St Cajetan Church (112th St & Artesian), with a performance of Irish songs and music, followed by mass. If you care to start even earlier, the pubs will be packed on Saturday night for "pre-parties."</do>

Forgot to move this one out of the article. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 01:57, 14 April 2009 (EDT)

I hate it when interesting places close, but I haven't yet found a number that isn't disconnected or giving me fax noises, and the website is down. Presumed dead. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 14:51, 20 October 2009 (EDT)

I'm not sure about Grich, actually. The internets are silent; some lady's voice mail popped up when I called, and Mr Grich is not some lady, so... I'm going to leave this one out until I can confirm that it is indeed open. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 18:46, 2 October 2010 (EDT)
