Whirlyball
editWhirlyball is actually just across the river, placing it in the Chicago/Logan-Bucktown district. Should we move it? Or does it make sense to group it with Lincoln Park? --(WT-en) Peter Talk 00:08, 8 December 2007 (EST)
- Same goes for Green Dolphin St. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 01:15, 8 December 2007 (EST)
- Sure, they can both move. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 03:11, 8 December 2007 (EST)

Ranalli's
editDescription moved from article:
- <eat name="Ranalli's Pizza" alt="" address="2301 N. Clark St" directions="22 Clark Bus" ="" phone="+1 773-244-2300" url="http://www.ranallisonclark.com/" price="$10-35"> Great pizza joint that also serves up a pretty good breakfast. But what really sets Ranalli's apart is their wonderful patio, which can actually seat more people than inside the restaurant. Great place in the warmer months even if just to have a drink and conversation with friends. </eat>
I'm inclined to strike this one from the list, as we already have several good mid-range pizza recommendations, and because my understanding is that this one isn't all that great. Ranalli's usually doesn't fare too well in the Chicago fast-food-erati pizza comparisons. Perhaps more importantly, Ranalli's fans contend that this is the worst of the three locations, and that it suffers from poor management. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 18:04, 18 February 2008 (EST)
Star nomination
editHmm. It appears we've put a star together for the frat boys. We can at least console ourselves with the knowledge that the article also includes Old Town, anyway. And it is, I think, a great and complete article. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 17:25, 18 February 2008 (EST)
- Support. I think it does well by visitors with many different interests. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 18:42, 18 February 2008 (EST)
- Support. Looks flawless, not to mention one of the most colorful neighborhoods I have ever heard of. You got the famous shooting of a famous bank robber, and a hot dog joint where the main attraction isn't the food, but profanity. How can you beat this? Lincoln Park map
editThe Arlington International House (sleep listing #1) is now known as the Chicago Getaway Hostel [1]. (WT-en) Eco84 15:55, 2 March 2010 (EST)
Closed listings
edit- <drink name="Red Lion Pub" alt="" address="2446 Lincoln Ave" directions="Fullerton Red/Brown/Purple Line" phone="+1 773 348-2695" email="" fax="" url="http://www.redlionchicago.com/" hours="12PM-1:30AM" price=""> Great English pub with two comfortable floors across the street from the Biograph. (And like the Biograph, it's rumored to be haunted.) A few literary clubs meet here for readings.</drink>
Red Lion is closed for renovations. When it reopens, lets put it back in the article. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 13:24, 11 June 2010 (EDT)
Dr. Grabow's Pipe Co.
editI am doing some specific research on The Dr. Grabow Pipe Co. (my namesake) and am very interested in any facts or information on the company, part of the M. Linkman Co. of pipes which were headquartered in Lincoln Park for many years. Any info on Dr. Paul Grabow (the pipes namesake)? Where he worked? Was he a MD or PHD? The Co's headquarters was very close to the campus of DePaul Univ. Was Grabow a PHD Professor? It is pretty certain that he lived and or worked in the Lincoln Park area.
