Daviswiki.org / wikispot.org ? edit

Where is an appropriate place to link to http://daviswiki.org/ ? As a recent visitor to Davis, it is THE place for local information - with something like 1 in 7 residents actually making edits/updates and more than half of the residents visiting the site each month. The logical place seems to be in the sidebar next with the Wikipedia link - how does one go about getting an "interwiki map" entry for wikispot.org and thus http://davis.wikispot.org/ ? Our current external links policy would exclude these links from the article since they don't meet the definition of "primary sources" as defined in that policy. This is unfortunate, but in several years no one has figured out how to allow links like the ones you've mentioned without opening the floodgates to a host of links we don't want. If you have any ideas please read the discussions on Project:External links and propose a solution. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 23:28, 29 October 2010 (EDT)
