Talk:Dingle Peninsula

I removed a plea for travelers to avoid the Dingle Peninsula. I don't know what to replace it with, though. --(WT-en) Evan 14:56, 16 Dec 2005 (EST)

Perhaps a Respect section, if the locals are anti-tourist and fear the destruction of their culture by too many visitors. -- (WT-en) Huttite 18:29, 17 Dec 2005 (EST)

My Contribution has Change/Disappeared

edit

I posted an addition to the DO section of this artical. It then disappered. I understand from the history that it was elimenated/deleted. I read the guidelines some more and understand why it could have been. My question is why so are other links within this artical still allowed to stay?

It might have been that your edit was spotted as it was added and so deleted immediately. Others were undetected. I've deleted a bunch, but this whole page needs to edited to conform to the Wikivoyage manual of style, and any other external links that are not from a primary source also need to be deleted. Cheers. (WT-en) WindHorse 10:21, 6 March 2007 (EST)

Thank you. I'm sorry for being so brazen by my initial post and for not fully understanding the guidelines.

No problem. Nobody can know all the guidelines when they first begin. In fact, I'm still discovering new ones after a few years of editing! Anyway, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Cheers. (WT-en) WindHorse 11:13, 6 March 2007 (EST)
