I am a Michigander (Native Michigan) and grew up about 20 min's away from Flint. I'm unaware of sugar can being grown anywhere in Michigan, how ever sugar beets are a very important crop. I'm wondering if the paragraph regarding the Flint Farmers Mrkt means to reference sugar beets instead of sugar cane.
