Talk:Inner Hebrides
Structure
editI don't think the present structure works. The intro explains that the idea is to help first-time visitors choose, so it's ordered by amenity not geography. But now a geographical ordering has been interposed, kinda superfluous since the static map is so clear.
I therefore propose to re-work content into three sections: the principal islands, top choice for a first visit; other Inner Hebridean islands; and a brief pointer to other island groups not covered here. I'll start on this, let's say Tu 7 Aug, unless there are objections or counter-proposals. Grahamsands (talk) 20:57, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
No objections so that's done. Since this is a second- or third-level overview, I've limited detail (eg markers on maps) to reduce clutter - they come into view on the pages for individual islands. One inhabited destination lacked a page: that's Gigha, now added. Arguably it's "part of" Argyll / Kintyre rather than Hebrides, but I've kept it here. Grahamsands (talk) 13:21, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
