Talk:Munkebo-Kerteminde

Why are these two locations merged here? Kerteminde is a small old town (it received its charter 600 years ago), and is associated with its narow streets and old town centre. Munkebo is a (now former) home to a shipyard, and was little more than a village until vastly expanded in the 1960s and 1970s (urban sprawl). Since 2007, the two locations have become part of the same municipality, but they have rather little in common. From the perspective of a tourist, Kerteminde might be notable for the town centre, and its harbour, but Munkebo has no sights, except that the crane belonging to the former shipyard still hasn't been removed. The page should be moved to Kerteminde, and a small note could be made referring to the former shipyard in Munkebo. 89.150.160.26 22:03, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

We're discussing the name of an entirely empty article. Lets get some content in it, and then by all means lets look at what makes sense to call it. --Inas (talk) 23:02, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
That's very likely why it is empty. The logical thing is to delete the page, and create a page for Kerteminde. Noone in the world has heard of a "Munkebo-Kerteminde" town, so noone will search for this nonsense. 95.166.21.98 07:55, 13 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Munkebo-Kerteminde" page.
