This article needs help. I've put in what I know, but do others have more detail? In particular, more about lines from Beijing or Guangzhou, or overall long-term plans. (WT-en) Pashley 15:23, 30 June 2008 (EDT)

In my opinion this is a little too fine-grained for an article. If you must -- and I'm not convinced it's necessary -- then why not just "Rail travel in China"? (WT-en) Jpatokal 09:39, 4 July 2008 (EDT)

Rail travel in general is covered, adequately I'd say, in the China article. I thought there was too much stuff here to fit in there. (WT-en) Pashley 01:17, 8 August 2008 (EDT)
