Talk:Round the world overland/Archive
Hmmm, so I'm wondering if it's a good idea for this to become some sort of meta-itinerary that could link together the growing number of other overland itiniraries (ie Overland from Singapore to Shanghai). Thoughts? (WT-en) Majnoona 09:40, 8 May 2006 (EDT)
I was thinking keep it destinationless. There are literally hundreds, thousands of routes to go around the world. It should be about the nuts and bolts of overland travel. For example, describing how to cross things usually crossed by plane like oceans. What is the preferred way to get around a certain region or continent. But including a sample itinerary would be a good idea. (WT-en) Lizz 03:04, 1 July 2006 (EDT)
I don't know that anyone with common sense would believe that traveling by air around the world would be more polluting than traveling between countless trains, cars, boats, buses, etc. overland... just a suggestion. --71.182.138.162 21:11, 31 August 2009 (EDT)
