Arab Safed? edit

Isn't a large percentage of the population of Safed Arab? It seems to me that things Jewish are covered well in this guide, but there is almost no mention of Arabs. Someone who's more knowledgeable than I am about the city should post more about the Arab community, to redress that omission. (WT-en) Ikan Kekek 04:12, 10 June 2011 (EDT)

- According to wikipedia, citing CBS figures, Safed is 99.2% Jewish with no significant Arab presence.

Alternative banner for this article? edit

suggested new banner (which is currently used in the parallel article in the Hebrew Wikivoyage)

In the Hebrew Wikivoyage we are currently using this banner instead of the one which is currently used here. Do you think too that this banner would would better than the existing one? ויקיג'אנקי (talk) 02:13, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please give some insight into the criteria you're using, because I don't understand why you prefer the new banner, as the current one is more colorful. Please explain what I'm missing. Is there something you find technically better about the new banner? Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:20, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Keep the existing colorful banner. Not sure what would be compelling about the proposed one? Andrewssi2 (talk) 06:46, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
I prefer the top banner, but to be truthful, it's not that great. It looks a bit hazy. ChubbyWimbus (talk) 00:31, 8 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

"Do" section edit

I moved a bunch of art gallery listings out of "Do" and into "Buy", because galleries are shops. But what should be in "Do"? One possible activity is to attend a service at a synagogue, but synagogues are already covered in "See". Study is another activity, but it's covered in "Learn". Are there any notable hikes, bike rides or what have you? Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:34, 26 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
